Artist Development Program – Terms and Conditions

Enrollment and Payment: To reserve your place in the Artist Development program, payment is required at the time of enrollment. Payment plans may be available. By selecting a payment plan, you agree to complete all scheduled payments. Payment plans cannot be cancelled once the program has begun. All payments are non-refundable once the program has started.

Program Structure: The Artist Development program runs for approximately 8 weeks and includes sessions focused on songwriting, artistic development, and music production. Participants are expected to actively engage in the creative process and complete agreed-upon work between sessions.

Scheduling: Sessions will be scheduled in advance to support the creative and production process. Participants should communicate as early as possible if scheduling adjustments are needed.

Cancellations and Missed Sessions: If a session must be rescheduled, participants should provide at least 24 hours’ notice when possible. Missed sessions without notice may not be rescheduled.

Music Production: As part of the program, participants will work toward completing two songs. Puget Sound Music provides artistic development guidance, songwriting support, production, and vocal recording as part of the program. Final mixing and mastering may be completed by professional engineers outside of Puget Sound Music

Creative Participation and Deliverables: The program is designed to guide artists through the development and production of two songs within the 8-week timeline. Timely participation from the artist—including writing, recording vocals, and providing feedback—is required to complete the production process. Delays in participation may affect the completion timeline.

Revisions: Reasonable revisions may be included as part of the creative process. However, extensive revisions or additional production work beyond the agreed scope of the program may require additional fees.

Ownership, Royalties, and Credits: Artists retain full ownership of all songs created during the program. Puget Sound Music does not claim ownership, publishing, or royalty participation in the songs. If songwriting contributions are made during the development process, Puget Sound Music may receive songwriting credit where appropriate; however, any associated royalties or publishing rights are relinquished to the artist. Production credit will be attributed to Puget Sound Music where applicable.
